Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of PlanTakeoff (the "App") and this website, both provided by Trestleworks LLC ("Trestleworks", "we", "us"). If you get the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where the two conflict, Apple's agreement controls for the App.

1. A tool, not professional advice

The App helps you measure, count and mark up drawings. It does not provide engineering, architectural or other professional services. Measurements depend on the accuracy of the drawing, its scale and how it's calibrated, so you are responsible for checking all results before relying on them for design, bids, ordering or construction.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the drawings and data you open or create in the App. We don't receive them (see our Privacy Policy). You're responsible for having the right to use the documents you open, including any confidentiality obligations to your clients.

3. Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the App except as the law allows, and don't use it to break the law or infringe others' rights.

4. No warranty

The App and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Trestleworks is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of the App or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
